The Lahore International Book Fair (LIBF), is a not-for-profit annual event that has been organized for the past many decades years by the Lahore International Book Fair Trust along with Pakistan Publishers and Booksellers Association (PPBA), with raging success and is now a prominent feature in the social and literary calendar of Lahore. During testing economic times and against a mindset of not spending on books, the LIBF has fought on. As time has gone by, our scale of operation has increased and today we are able to host national as well as various prominent international publishers and booksellers, every year under one roof. The book fair is attended every year by people from all walks of life. In particular, students, parents and young adults have always shown a keen interest in the book fair. By the Grace of Allah, every year the Lahore International Book Fair receives an overwhelming response from the residents of Lahore. The Lahore International Book Fair brings into prominence the otherwise understated passion the people of Lahore have for books and highlights the exponential growth in the culture of reading.

One of the main aims of the LIBF is to fight against the menace of piracy, and for this reason we have a strict policy of zero-tolerance towards display / sale of any pirated items. The LIBF provides the public with a unique opportunity to acquire genuine books and reading materials at great discounts. It also gives the local publishers and booksellers an opportunity to find areas of mutual interest with their foreign counterparts.
